2016 Sauvignon Blanc

100% Sauvignon Blanc from our Shoemaker School and Waterford Vineyards. The first has coarse, sandy soils, making for a very lean, crisp wine. The latter has heavier, loamier soils, for a rounder wine on the palate. Cold fermented separately in stainless steel. Aromatic; great acidity and structure. Pairs perfectly with cheeses, salads, or oysters.

2015 NW Mourvedre

Aged in French oak for 22 months, our Mourvèdre is more closely aligned with a Spanish Monastrell. Grown in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA in Washington, the dry climate and volcanic soils produce a rich, yet lean minerality with a lot of dark fruit, smoky tannins, and balanced acidity. Serve with beef short ribs, pork shoulder, barbeque, or portabella mushrooms.
